Meet the Artist: Jeannette Bradley

My work is a visual dialogue—a celebration of identity, resilience, and shared humanity. Through bold colors, layered textures of acrylic and newsprint, and emotive figures, I seek to use abstract art to challenge outdated narratives about the Black community while inviting viewers of all backgrounds into a space of connection and understanding.
Each piece reflects a story—sometimes personal, sometimes collective—but always rooted in the depth and complexity of Black experiences. I explore themes of joy, struggle, heritage, and hope, embracing multiple interpretations that speak across cultural lines. My art is not just for one audience; it is for all who are willing to see, feel, and engage.
I create with purpose: to inspire, uplift, and shift perspectives. When the narrative changes, so does the future.
